The medical community does not fully understand the causes of depression, it can be due to a single cause or can be result from a mix of things, it can be genetic, events in your past, current circumstances, and more.
Biology- even today somethings remain a mystery but researchers believe that neurotransmitters likely play a role in depression, but it also clear that biochemical changes alone cannot explain the complete reality of depression.

Aerobic exercise or yoga can help you rise your endorphins (chemical produced in body to relieve stress and pain) level and stimulates the neurotransmitter norepinephrine, which is linked with mood. This may help relieve mild depression and also help relieve body stress.
Set attainable goal -
Set one or two smaller goals that can be done throughout a day. A lengthy to - do list may be weight that you'd rather do nothing
For example-

When you've done a small thing, look for other small thing, and then other. This way you have a list of tangible achievements.

Spend more time in nature -

Nature can be a best influencer on depression. People who spend more time in nature are tend to live a healthier life as one can get fresh supply of oxygen which improves the cleansing of your lungs and release airborne toxins from your body.
Exposure to morning sunlight can help to increase your serotonin level, which can produce a temporary mood boost.

Depression can lead to isolation, and withdraw from your family and friend. Give time for face to face conversation and try to free your mind by sharing your problem, this will not only relief you but also help create a strong relationship.

Sleep disturbance are common with depression, this might include that you might not be able to sleep well or sleep too much. But taking a non-disturb sleep for 8 hours a day is very effective for helping your mind to stay calm and positive, this can be done through a healthy sleep routine.

Listen to music -

As i have explained is my previous blog the power of music, and how it can help to overcome depression. As one who listen their favourite music for 15 minutes daily can lead to release of dopamine a “feel good" neurotransmitter in your brain which is associated with pleasurable sensation, along with learning memory, motor system function and more.

Consider clinical treatment-

Getting a proffessional's opinion should always be the first priority, as they can guide you with your problem and help you to solve them effectively. Besides those they can also help you with prescription drugs like Anti-depressants medicine. If you are open to your healthcare personal they might find what's working for you and what's not.

In time like this one must not try to fight alone with a problems, try talking to other no matter how small or big the problems might be. You can release all your mental stress by sharing your problem, there is always a person who will listen to you and even help you with those.
