 Berry and Yogurt Smoothie -


Here’s a simple and delicious smoothie for the morning rush. It takes less than five minutes to blend fresh or frozen fruit (banana and berries work well) with Greek yogurt and a liquid of your choice (milk, juice, coconut water — whatever you like). Quick, easy and super healthy. Loaded with fiber, vitamins and protein. This smoothie is gluten-free and has only 5 ingredients!

Ingredients -

  • Bananas
  • blueberries
  • blackberries
  • Greek yoghurt
  • soy milk

Procedure-
Add all of the ingredients to a blender and pulse for 30 seconds.
Stir and pulse again for another 30 seconds until blended.
Divide between two glasses and serve immediately.
Garnish with blueberries and blackberries if desired.

Nut Butter, Banana, and Chia Seed Toast -


This is a great breakfast and also a nice snack option that will help you get through your day. You'll get that wonderful boost of energy and a perfectly satisfied tummy.

Ingredients-

  • 1 Slice 100% Whole Wheat Bread
  • 1 Tbsp. Sunbutter / peanut butter
  • 1/2 Medium Banana, Sliced
  • 1/2 Tsp. Chia Seeds

Procedure-
Toast the bread and spread the sun butter/peanut butter over the top of the bread.
Place banana slices over the butter and top it off with chia seeds.
Serve right away and enjoy!

Coconut Yogurt Quinoa Muffins -


Quinoa muffins are made with coconut yogurt and warm spices. They're healthy, filled with fiber, made without eggs and naturally sweetened.

Ingredients-

  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 cup mashed banana
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1/2 cup coconut yogurt 
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup oat flour (oats ground in a blender )
  • 1/2 cup quinoa flakes
  • 1/2 cup blanched almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean powder or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Procedure -
Pre heat the oven to 350ºF and grease the muffin tin
Mix the flaxseed and water and set aside to gel while you prepare the remaining ingredients.
In a small bowl, beat banana, applesauce, yogurt and maple syrup together (you can also add vanilla extract for flavour). Whisk in flax egg and set aside.
 In a separate bowl dry mix all the dry ingredients together, then add to the wet and stir them thorough to form a batter like consistency. (the batter will have a thick consistency but will still be stirable and soft).

Fill each cup 3/4 of the way full and sprinkle the tops of the muffins with quinoa flakes (and sugar) if desired. Let it rest for 5 minutes before baking for proving.

Bake on the center rack for 24 - 26 minutes, insert a cake tester or a toothpick in the centre and see if it's comes out clean.
Cool in the pan for 5 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack and cool completely. This will help muffins to develop more flavour.
Garnish them with a piece of dark chocolate as it is healthy for you and your brain loves Chocolate. 

Peanut Butter and Banana Smoothie -


Smoothies are a perfect on-the-go snack any time of day. Blend frozen bananas, peanut butter, soy milk, Greek yogurt, honey, and a few ice cubes and you’ll swear you’re sipping a milkshake.

Ingredients-

  • 3 frozen bananas
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
  • 1/2 cups soy milk (or milk)
  • 1/2 cup 2% greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped roasted peanuts

Procedure-
In a blender add banana with peanut butter, soy milk, yogurt, honey, and salt.
Blend it for 30 second untill it get a smooth consistency.
After you have blended all the ingredients together you will have perfect smoothie to start your day.
Garnish it with a teaspoon of chopped peanuts.

 Avocado Toast with Egg -


Sometimes simple is just better.  Many people believe avocados can’t be super healthy because they are so high in fat.  Avocados are a nutritious and versatile fruit with many health benefits. 


Ingredients -

  • 2 eggs (fried sunny side up)
  • 2 slices of multi-grain or whole grain bread (toasted)
  • 1 small avocado
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • sea salt + black pepper (to taste)
  • parsley (optional for topping)

Procedure-
Start the recipe by preparing toast and fried eggs to personal preference.
Now Peel the avocado and mash them with the lime juice, salt and pepper.
Spread avocado evenly on each slice of toast then top each with a fried egg and any additional seasonings you prefer. Serve immediately.
